Cross Your Fingers…
It’s An #EvenYear For The San Francisco Giants
The hashtag is #EvenYear. Since 2010, the San Francisco Giants have won the World Series in every even year, and 2016 is already starting to look great for the team. Giving up Sandoval to the Red Sox has been a blessing in disguise with his lack of enthusiasm for the game. Good riddance the fans say! We now have more time to focus on the main players of the team: Pence, Posey, Belt and Bumgarner! But, of course, it’s a team sport and they couldn’t do it without the new guy, Span, along with the rest of the veteran players.
Hitting home runs in every game since the season started is how the Giants are kicking off their reign. Sitting at 1st in their division, fans can only hope they can keep the momentum going. Losses are going to happen, for sure, but the team looks strong this year to pull through. And they certainly showed their AAA team, the Sacramento Rivercats, how the game is done by winning their first ever head-to-head competition 8 against 4 before the start of the season.
Employees of Real Property Management Select San Jose are huge Giants fans. From Ring Ceremonies, to Opening Day, to games throughout the year, one or more of us is sporting our black and orange to show our love of the game. Personally I wear my Posey jersey while riding Bart from Concord into the city. On top of enjoying live games at At&t park, I have also registered this year for the team’s charity Giant Race, running both the Sacramento 5k and the San Francisco 5k.
I’m excited to see where this year will take the team and am looking forward to being apart of the action, whether going to games or running with fellow fans. I don’t hashtag much, but when I post a picture of my SF Giants, it always ends with #EvenYear.
